Harriet Holden-White and Katy Waite with their team, successfully run the Surrey office of The County Homesearch Company.

Area

Not only is London on Surrey’s doorstep for shopping, theatre and history, there are many outstanding beauty spots for walking, cycling or just admiring. The Devil’s Punch Bowl in Hindhead has its own interesting history, with many different species of wild life and birds. Virginia Water on the edge of Windsor Great Park finds many families picnicking and relaxing at weekends.

In the county town of Guildford with its cobbled streets, you can explore its wealth of interesting history and admire its beauty. Guildford Castle dates to 1066 and Guildford Cathedral is situated in 20 acres of green parkland. Guildford is home to The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre where many West End productions are debuted.

Since 1780 the market town of Epsom has held the annual and world famous ‘Epsom Derby’ horse race which continues to attract many visitors from far and wide.

Surrey is home to some of the most stunning villages in the country. Frensham & Dockenfield , with the famous Frensham Ponds has stunning scenery and beautiful homes. Frensham Church was built in the 13th century and is well worth a visit. Shere is probably the most photographed village in Surrey, with its ducks and ford and two well sited public houses it is a great place to wander. The 17th century prison is a short walk from the village. Both of these villages are on the main line to Waterloo and Surrey is a great location for commuting to London.
