Bradford on Avon

With its buildings of Mellow Stone, echoing their close neighbour – the Cotswolds – Bradford on Avon is one of the most attractive of all the market towns in Wiltshire. Amongst the many tourist attractions are the Tithe Barn and the early Saxon church. The world heritage city of Bath is within easy striking distance via road or rail and the glorious countryside of Wiltshire and Somerset provide the opportunity of pursuing all kinds of rural activities.

There is a wide choice of independent stores including an excellent delicatessen, renowned cheese shop, florist, jewellers and several gift shops. In addition there is a selection of restaurants, public houses and tearooms within the town centre itself as well as a leisure centre, swimming pool and library. Market day is every Thursday and twice a month is a Farmers Market in Westbury Gardens.
