Sevenoaks
Steeped in a rich history, Sevenoaks also has a living, thriving, vibrant community. It has a newly-extended shopping centre, a wonderful variety of restaurants, a large leisure centre and a theatre/cinema complex.
The town has excellent schools both independent and state, and of course is home to the hugely popular Sevenoaks School, formed in the 15th century, is now one of the most successful schools in the country.
The town is also home to the National Trust’s Knole Park with its stunning acres of deer park (open to all) and to The Vine cricket ground – the oldest in England. There is a wide variety of historic properties within a short distance from the centre and many beautiful gardens to visit.
The town is surrounded by gorgeous countryside and picturesque villages – each with strong community spirit.
There are many sporting facilities and the district is home to some prestigious golf clubs and equestrian centres.
Sevenoaks is an excellent place for commuters to live with a fast train service to London taking just 30 minutes, and the M25 just minutes away.
