Hampshire is a most beautiful and diverse county to live in, with its tranquil villages and chocolate box cottages, ancient forests and coastline. With first class rail, road and air links, the county is ideally placed for both the daily commute to London and international travel from Southampton airport. Hampshire offers a rich portfolio of unspoilt countryside, stunning coastlines, historic cities, bustling market towns and some of England’s most picturesque villages. The busy ports of Southampton and Portsmouth give this county its strong nautical tradition.

The jewel in the crown of Hampshire’s natural heritage is the New Forest, once a hunting ground for William the Conqueror, preserved by Royal Order to the present day. It is an ideal place to walk, cycle, and horse-ride, or to enjoy a picnic and is particularly popular with second home owners.

There are plenty of sailing opportunities in Hampshire – the Solent is one of busiest coastal zones in England and is the premier destination for sailing in the UK.  The South Downs stretches from east Hampshire across to Winchester and is an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The Meon Valley, part of the South Downs with its tranquil cottages and stunning villages is a hugely popular place to live and demand for the best properties in this area is very high. To the north of the county is the large town of Basingstoke and the smaller towns of Andover and Whitchurch, all with good rail links to London Waterloo and are surrounded by quaint and picturesque villages. The River Test is arguably the most famous fly fishing river in the world and attracts many visitors to the area.

Hampshire offers a huge choice of both excellent state and private schools for all ages making it a great location for the family. Private Clients
"
We felt able to trust your judgement, so I suppose the first point of note was your total understanding of what we needed.  While necessarily keeping a sense of proportion we were able to wait for the near impossible to become a reality.

The second was your approach – one of calm, methodical but persistent pursuit of the eventual goal.  You were able to maintain momentum to our search in spite of various difficulties and knock-backs encountered along the way.

Finally, there was your ability to close a deal on favourable terms it was a surprise to end up paying less than I half-suspected we’d have to.

For these reasons, I would have no hesitation in seeking the help of County Homesearch again if another move proves necessary or desirable.  It is definitely a service worth paying for considering the size of investment involved."

‘We really cannot thank you enough for your patience in guiding us through this whole, for us baffling, process.  You are so excellently suited to the task having the ability to make us feel that we were your only clients and therefore your only concern.’

‘You have been a pleasure to work with and we couldn’t have done it without you.’

‘With our grateful thanks for your help in smoothing so sensitively the house finding and buying process.  It has been a constant comfort to know that you were working on our behalf.’

‘The house continues to delight me and this year will be fully used by all of my family.’

‘We are still immensely grateful to you for your help – there isn’t a day goes by without our realising just how fortunate we were that you were on hand in our place.’

‘As always, thank you for your dedication and support. I have loved working with you.’

‘….it is so wonderful to know such a great team is behind you, that you become almost surplus to requirements.  You have alleviated some pressure, for which I can’t say thank you enough.’
