Grange-over-Sands
The Edwardian seaside resort of Grange-Over-Sands lies on the northern shore of Morecambe Bay. It is a good base for exploring both the Lake District and Furness Peninsula. The town is also a popular retirement location with an attractive traffic-free promenade, ornamental gardens and numerous cafes. It is also popular with painters, photographers and bird-watchers.

There are train services to Lancashire, Yorkshire and direct to Manchester Airport. The M6 is about 20 minutes drive.
