Garstang

Situated on the River Wyre on the edge of Bowland Forest, Garstang is a thriving market town which recently became the world’s first world Fair Trade town.  A modern Booths supermarket sells quality local produce and there is a good range of independent shops.  For eating out there is a mix of pubs, hotels, fine dining, brasseries and gastropubs with an emphasis on local produce.  Leisure opportunities include cycling, golf, walking or boating along the Lancaster Canal or walking in the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
