Burscough
Located mid-way between Liverpool and Preston on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, the small mill town of Burscough is popular with families. There are excellent primary and secondary schools nearby and a wide range of shops in nearby Ormskirk and Southport. For commuters, road links to Preston the M6 and Liverpool are good.
