Lisa Green has lived in Cheshire since 1990, and in the north-west all her life. She grew up and went to school in Southport and went on to obtain a degree from Lancaster University.
Following further post-graduate study at Leeds Metropolitan University she qualified as a chartered town planner in the late 1980s. Although no longer a practising planner, Lisa’s varied career in Cheshire has given her an extensive knowledge of the county as well as its surrounding city and rural areas. Manchester

Liverpool

Other local attractions include Speke Hall, Croxteth Hall & Country Park and 20 Forthlin Road
( the childhood home of Paul McCartney now restored by the National Trust), Liverpool and Everton Football Club tours and miles of sandy beaches towards Southport to the north.
Areas such as West Derby, Woolton, Aigburth, Calderstones, Allerton and Mossley Hill have always been very popular places to live but the development of contemporary apartments around the city centre and Albert Dock has added to the range of property on offer. Childwall is one of the city’s most sought after areas for luxury homes. North Shropshire
In north Shropshire you’ll find peaceful countryside and a unique landscape of sandstone hills, meres and mosses, and the pretty little market towns of Ellesmere, Wem, Whitchurch, Oswestry and Market Drayton.
Influenced by its location on the Welsh border the area boasts an interesting history with the town of Oswestry once a strategically vital frontier town and Offa’s Dyke marking out the border between England and Wales.

Manchester Metropolitan University
With 2 major airports at Manchester Airport and Liverpool John Lennon Airport, worldwide, US, European and domestic flights are widely available. Regular flights to London from Manchester airport take approximately 30-40 minutes. Flights from Liverpool to Ireland take about 45 minutes.
Train journeys to London now take less than two hours from Crewe, or 2 hours and 10 mins from Liverpool or Manchester, making the area a realistic distance from the capital for weekly commutes or regular business meetings.
The area’s extensive motorway network and proximity to the M6, M62, M60 and M56 means that most major UK centres are readily accessible and can be reached in less than 2-3hrs.
