Berkhamsted
Berkhamsted is situated in Hertfordshire on its border with Buckinghamshire surrounded by some of the finest Chilterns landscape including the adjacent National Trust Estate at Ashridge with its wonderful beech woodland. The town has a population of some 19,000 and thrives as a prosperous community including the well known Berkhamsted Collegiate School. There is excellent local shopping along the High Street and a variety of restaurants and the recently restored Art Deco Rex cinema is a key attraction. For those working in London trains take about 35 minutes to London Euston, the M25 is about 8 miles and central London 27 miles
