Ascot is a small town in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and most notable as the location of Ascot Racecourse, home of the prestigious Royal Ascot meeting. The region is split into distinct areas: Ascot itself together with Sunningdale and Sunninghill and these make up one of the finest residential districts in the country. Golf is a major attraction with world renowned courses on hand. Ascot has a station on the Reading to London Waterloo line journey time 55 minutes. Heathrow is about a 20 minute drive.
