1. Commencement
We will commence working on your behalf as soon as you have agreed
to the conditions of business and the Preview Service fee referred
to below has been paid in full. (As speed is of the essence with
this particular service, County Homesearch Company takes all major
credit cards).
You will not be able to cancel this Agreement under Regulation
10 of The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000,
once you have made payment and we have commenced providing the
service.
2. Service
We will visit the property specified by you, and then provide
you with a verbal and written report together with digital photographs
that will help determine whether a viewing is warranted. Photographs
will only be provided subject to the vendor's permission.
We will when possible, communicate with you by email.
Please note that unless permission is given to the contrary,
we will decline instructions to carry out a preview on a property
in which an existing client may have an interest.
This service is restricted to one property preview per client.
3. Fees
The Preview Service attracts a fee of £350 GBP (including VAT).
Should you wish to use our services to negotiate the purchase of the property upon which we have carried out the Preview Service, the initial fee of £350 GBP including VAT will be deducted from the final fee of 1% of the property purchase price (exclusive of VAT).
Should you wish to continue looking for other properties, this £350 GBP fee will go towards your £500 registration fee for the traditional homefinding service.
4. Liability
Details of the properties, valuations, reports and other information
provided by us are prepared in good faith and are solely for your
guidance. They do not form any part of any contract relating to
the purchase or letting of any property.
All purchasers and/or tenants must satisfy themselves as to the
correctness and accuracy of any details provided by us and none
of our offices or agents or employees have any authority to make
any representations or statements in relation to any property
and/or the service provided by us.
In addition, we do not accept liability for the views of, or
contents of any report prepared by, any third party in relation
to any property.
We will strongly recommend all prospective purchasers and/or
tenants to take appropriate legal and other advice and to use
the services of solicitors, surveyors, valuers and other specialists.
The service provided by us is not intended as a substitute to
obtain such advice and accordingly no liability is accepted for
any defects in legal title or in the fabric and structures of
any property.
5. General
The supply of the services by The County Homesearch Company is
subject to the terms and conditions set out in this agreement
and, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing by The County
Homesearch Company, these conditions shall prevail over any other
terms and conditions and shall comprise the whole agreement between
you and The County Homesearch Company.
